November 10, 2017 Remembering Veterans Day! |
Veterans Day is a day to remember all those who served. All Gave Some, Some Gave All! Gone But Never Forgotten! Honor The Brave!
Jack Boland will be remembering and honoring all of our veterans for their service and sacrifices for our country on Veterans Day, November 10, 2017. Veterans day is an

official United States public holiday, we observe annually on November 11, that honors military veterans; that is, persons who served in the United States Armed Forces. This day is the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which ended the World War I hostilities between the Allied nations and Germany in 1918. Our Veterans are thanked for their service to the United States on Veterans Day. Veterans are very special people who have spent part of their lives, from a few months to many years, serving our country in the military. This is very important because it means that without veterans, we would not have the freedoms we often so carelessly enjoy. May God Bless our Veterans!

Bill Jacobs

Bill Jacobs is another very important man behind the scene at "WRDV" and a very good friend of Jack Boland. Everyone here at Country Gold Classics has a title in connection for what they do for the radio station. We call Bill Jacobs the "engineer"! Whenever there is a technical problem or breakdown with the equipment, Bill is the man who is always there to save the day! What would we do without Bill Jacobs? Bill also donates his time to the radio station with his program "Weekend Express" on every Friday afternoon from 3:00PM to 6:00PM playing great music from the big band era. Jack Boland and everyone here at "WRDV" would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to Bill Jacobs for his kindness and wonderful consideration he gives to the radio station!
